i went to a superbowl party at the baptist student ministry and we all missed the tebow commercial because the reception in the building was bad.

Wow. The only thing controversial about that ad is that it directed people to a hateful website at the end.
It still irks me though that last years United Church of Christ (a mainline Christian denomination)'s ad was denied last year, and extremist group was granted ad space.

We non-Americans find it amusing how much attention gets paid to the ads in America. In Australia, the ads during a sports game are seen as a good chance to go to the bathroom or grab more food from the kitchen, not an attraction.

Ouch! That IS a cheap shot. Bristol made a mistake and has been smeared in the media way too much. She's trying to move on, learn from her mistake, and help others while she raises her son. Get over it. Jesus has forgiven her; What's your problem?

I know a lot this blog and these comments are full of sarcasm. However, WE all to be careful that we don't tear people down in our "humor".

The only way this commercial could be more awesome would be if suddenly, Tim Tebow whips out a guitar and leads America in a non-threatening pseudo-worship song, like "I Can Only Imagine" or "The Reason" by Hoobastank. His Christian points would soar!
