My pick would be Mark Tremonti. The guy is a fantastic composer and even better guitar player. He has won guitar player of the year 3 times. He practices every day 6-8 hours a day when he isn't on tour. The guy is amazing and only wanting to get better. His guitar influence in Christian music would put Christian music (other than worship music) back on the charts and back worth listening to. If you haven't heard his newest band (Alter Bridge) a lot of their lyrics could be used in Christianity. "It's not too late to make things right, dress the wound in love's pure light", "mend the broken home, care for them they are our brothers", "so find a new way to live, before you die in the cold. find a new way to live, before your fait it set in stone". I mean these guys are my favorite band and I can debate with you until I'm blue in the face that they are the best band in history. But I truly believe that Mark Tremonti's guitar wisdom and lyrics could be used to best the Kingdom. It would draw guitar players, people that like heavy music, and people who are looking for more than just the same sounding Christian pop music. Nuff said.

I totally agree with you, here. I'm a HUGE musical fan of Mayer & his honesty, humor, and self/world-awareness. Lol, I'd even marry the guy if I had the chance and it wasn't all unequally yoked, and such.

OH, IF ONLY. Seriously, he has such talented words. It would be AMAZING to hear him pray at a show in front of the audience.

It would be cool if he became a Christian... what lame reasons. How about because the bible calls all to repent and put their trust in the Lord famous or not. I pray God will save him before he slips right into hell.
