At the last 9 consecutive weddings I have been to, I have caught the bouquet. Yes, that’s NINE bouquets, in a row. Every mother or grandmother at the wedding always feels inclined to tell me about or (even better) introduce me to her single son/grandson. The funny thing is that I haven’t caught these bouquets by accident, or because I have an uncontrollable desire to get married and think that bouquet-catching will do the trick. I’m actually just a former D1 soccer player and it’s more of a competition/personal challenge for me. Maybe they’ll make it into a movie – 27 bouquets. Ha, who knows

So funny!I was at a wedding once. When a slow song came on to dance to, our pastor says “lets all go dance…except you, Kara!” Then for the bouquet toss it was me and the bride’s little cousin. I was asked to let her catch it! If the horrible married people hadn’t pushed me out there…I would have been hiding somewhere!
