I too appreciate your 'realness'. It's extremely refreshing. I believe God has wired every single one of us for worship, love, relationship; and that he's planted those desires in all of us to be fulfilled through him-but we all express them differently.
The only thing that I was confused about while reading your post was why you called (correct me if I'm wrong here, because I really do want to understand) jumping up and down for Jesus nonsense? Also why fasting from Facebook was also nonsense? Is it the act of fasting from facebook that you consider nonsense, or the 'declaring to everyone' part? I try not to judge others' hearts, but I too am wary when people announce when they're fasting, or any other 'holy acts' for that matter. But what if what they were doing and saying, while seemingly cliche, was sincere?

Thank you for this blog. I am going though this exact thing right now. Listening to stuff that I swore off years ago. I ask myself how do I find my way back? I will start with prayer and I believe that the Lord will show me the rest of the way.

I'm going through that right now sorta :/. Didn't read today or really focus on him throughout the day. The result? Just been on the computer "working" on my essay (really just on Youtube, Facebook) and I've been rude to people & just getting annoyed and lazy. Seriously.

Why am I so surprised?

Because it hurts so much. I’ve been praying and fasting for three for God to one and help.

Is he my provider?

Does he care?

I’m begining to doubt it.

dude, i forget it so easily though. And I'm more inclined to steer away from it then towards it, so I need the encouragement of exactly what you said that Jesus loves me no matter what. It's like telling, or hearing some else say, "I love you" every day. It's not like it's changed since the day before or that you forgot but it still is just as meaningful every day you hear it.
