I thought about this recently. I started feeling bad about stuff I’d done in my past—who I was before I gave my life back to Christ. And as the guilt started to overwhelm me, God popped that “you are a new creation” verse into my head. (I love when he does that, by the way.) It reminded me that the old Rachel has been left in the dust—that old guilt doesn’t belong to me anymore because the person who did those things doesn’t exist anymore. I’m grateful for that reminder.

Dude, I don't mean to be a nitpicker or anything, but you have an amusing spelling mistake in the third paragraph of this blog post. "My job as a dad is to big massive holes" should be "My job as a dad is to dig massive holes". The change from "dig" to "big" makes the sentence look really odd, and has a confusingly vague but obscene connotation
