They have tons of customers/members and many employees/pastors. The name of the game is stealth and blending. 2) Don't get predictable. Don't go to Whole Foods to sample their cheese every monday at 7:00. Don't attend the same bible study night every week. Again, mooching from a big store/church helps this. 3) Keep them on the hook. Like negotiating with a car salesman, the favors will continue if they believe you are interested in joining. Play that card like Lionel Richie, all night long. 4) Disregard #3. Just tonight went for the 3rd time to our sister church's youth group because it's awesome and I have a bunch of friends there. I seriously love this church! But everyone there knows that I'm the pastor daughter of the church plant that's starting and this church is helping support. It's all cool and I feel so welcome there. It's awesome. :) Youth group!!!

Their parents come and stick around for the adult Bible study and they love it! BTW I don't steal I advertise! I have a shirt from another local church and I wear it all the time! I was just thinking about the best way to go about proving to them that I'm a card-carrying Christian who just needs to borrow their class for my children. Maybe an Icthus fish tattoo on my ankle. Or making sure that I wear my "MOPS EVENT COORDINATOR" hat so they know that I'm involved in a good Christian organization that they, too, support. Either way, I plan to follow your suggestions. I should also add that we are guilty of taking our children the the church up the street for preschool when our church didn't offer it. HA HA! You're going there for your kids, you're purchasing a meal that benefits the church or Awana program istself at the church while your children attend, so unless you're flat out telling someone that you attend when you don't....you're not doing anything you need to feel bad about.
