Rob Bell Scoop

I don’t think I’ve ever had the chance to use the word “Scoop” in relationship to this site. I’m usually the last to know about anything because I use a moleskine notebook as an iPhone and that thing never gets any early news and the only app it has is the ability to receive ink.

But a few minutes ago Brad Lomenick over at Catalyst said I could break the news that at Catalyst Atlanta this fall Rob Bell is speaking. (He wrote Velvet Elvis). And since he’s featured on Stuff Christians Like as item #28, I thought it would be fun to actually “break a story.” (I probably need to get one of those hats with a piece of paper that says “Press” on it.)

I’ve never seen him live but I’ve watched a bunch of Noomas and am looking forward to it.
