When we think God needs us to do something, then our work becomes an obligation and burn-out is bound to come. The answer - God doesn't need you, you need God - is hard to swallow. Thanks for writing it! See, I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum as you. I tend to be the one feeling worthless because I don't have an excellent ministry, or haven't gone on a mission, haven't read the Bible straight through, or whatever. <br />Sometimes we get so focused on our goals and the future that we forget about the here and now. Its good to be reminded that I am right where God wants me, and that I should just enjoy what I have and express my love there. This is such an encouragement. Thanks for writing it!
