The “Circle Trilogy” by Ted Dekker. Just finished book 2 (RED). You won’t find a better allegory representing the fall (Book 1: BLACK – evil enters the earth)and redemption (Book: 2 RED – the spilled blood of the saviour). Can’t wait to read about the earth restored (Book 3: WHITE).

Hooray for books!
1. Scarlet by Stephen Lawhead
2nd book in his re-telling of the Robin Hood myths set in medeival Wales. Sometimes too word-y but pretty good. This one's about Will Scarlet.
2. God is the Gospel by Piper
love it...but can only chew on small pieces at a time
3. United Symbolism of America by Robert Heironomus
For my Anthro class at college. A crack-shot conspiritorialist that I have a do a 6 page paper on.
4. Christ the Lord by Anne Rice
Just finished both books in her series on Jesus' fictionalized life. I loved them! I would like to hear others' opinions on her writings. Obviously no t gospel, but very very interesting. And great writing of course!

Blue Like Jazz: Non-Religious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality by Donald Miller, and it is so humbling, convicting, and challenging.

Also, The Hotel New Hampshire by John Irving, because I love the way he writes. And I'm dying to read Three Cups of Tea.

I’m reading Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. I can only read a few pages at a time because there’s too much to digest.

Also Anna Karenina, Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale (YA fantasy) and These Three Remain by Pamela Aidan (published Jane Austen fanfiction). But I had to mention Pilgrim’s Progress first because it’s way more impressive than Jane Austen fanfiction.

@greg bolt yeah i work with high schoolers so they got me into them too! i was so prepared to hate them, and after reading twilight, i went out and bought new moon and eclipse and pre-ordered a copy of breaking dawn to be picked up the night it came out…hah. when the other leaders at the youth group found out i was reading them, i think they got together and prayed for me..
