Remix #304. The Sound Guy/Gal Haiku

It can’t officially be music month at Stuff Christians Like without giving a tribute to the most unappreciated person at church – the sound guy/gal. They have one of those jobs that if everything goes right no one knows they even exist, but if things go wrong everyone blames them for shotblocking the Holy Spirit and ruining worship. Back in June I wrote a post called “The Sound Guy/Girl Haiku” and you guys posted some hilarious haikus (5 syllables first line, 7 syllables second line, 5 syllables third line).

I added one new one and posted a few of my favorites from readers. It’s Friday, let’s play the haiku game again. (Mine are denoted by italics. The reader haikus are denoted by hilarity.)

This gear is so old
Even duct tape has limits
Please buy something new

Jayabrams
“Did you turn it up?”
I lie and say “I did not”
we make a great team”

Your guitar seems loud”
“I haven’t even played yet”
Okay, I just lied again”

Sometimes less is more
“Sometimes I flip you the bird
When you turn your back.

“Did you flip me off?”
“no”… why do i lie so much?
We make a great team.

Scott
You say it’s too loud
He just said it’s too quiet
Please make up my mind

Katdish
I run the sound board
And my wife is on praise team
You’re gonna hear her

GramCrackers

Quick! fix it sound guy. I can’t-

Now how about you?
Got any sound guy Haiku?
