So, then, you might be familiar with the SNL skit of Vh1′s
Behind the Music, where there really is a rock n roll heaven,
and Will Ferrell plays Jesus, and he says, “Oh, my Dad”…
That is one for the category of “I am really bad for laughin
at this” !

It also means “really cool”. Or at least, it did for a while. I can never keep up with street slang, so that definition may be out of fashion now.

I’ve never regularly been to a church that uses flags but handbells and puppets I can completely relate to. Puppets are the baby of the Baptist and Methodist churches I’ve been to, whereas handbells (except around Christmas) tend to be the baby of the Episcopal or smaller churches. I love both of them.

Puppet ministries frighten me. They always have. I did play the handbells. Oh how I loved the handbells. There is something magical about putting on those white gloves and ringing your bell exactly 4 times in the whole song.

The puppet obsession is so true! We probably use puppets almost as often as we take Communion.

I am not exactly sure what handbells are, but my church does have the flaggers, so its nice to know the Holy Spirit is cleared for landing. I did puppets at my VBS for the longest time, and my AIM is morecowbell, so needless to say I love this post!
