#64. Fearing the rapture would come before you lost your virginity.

When I was in the 9th grade I had three fears that defined my life:

1. Zits
2. Having Knights of the Round Table shirts instead of Polo.
3. That the rapture would come before I lost my virginity.

If I’m being honest on this site, that was a serious concern for me when I was a teenager. I just kept thinking about how mad I would be at God if the rapture came before I had sex. But really what would I say to him? Can you imagine me getting up to heaven and being like, “Really, today? You just had to rapture us today? I’m in college. I’m like 2 or 3 years away from getting married. What’s the rush?”
