It’s time.
Fear always tells you two things about time: “It’s too late,” and “Do it later.”
It’s too late to chase your dream. You missed your window forever.
Do it later and not right now as if perhaps later you will have copious amounts of free time.
But fear is a liar.
It’s time to hustle.
It’s time to set our alarm clocks for horrific times and get up.
It’s time to jump start the things we’ve always wanted to do.
It’s time for the 5 Club.
This Friday, we’ll be meeting at 5AM to work together on our dreams.
For two hours, live in Brentwood, TN, we’ll hustle and dream and encourage each other.
I’ve got an idea about how we can set some “ridiculous goals” for 2013. We’ll talk about that and then we will roll up our sleeves and individually work on our dreams. We’ll set a 90 minute goal and then focus together.
We’ll review our progress and then at 7AM walk right back into the rest of the day.
Only our steps will be a little different. Our heads will be a little higher. Our to-do lists a little lighter.
Why? Because we just punched fear in the face.
We just fast forwarded our dreams.
And we did it while the rest of the world was sleeping.
Is 5AM early? It is.
I’ll need to set my alarm at 4:15 to get there on time.
That’s gross. Make no mistake, I hate that.
But you know what’s worse?
Ending your Friday night wondering, “What if?”
What if you missed a moment to get some encouragement from friends?
What if you missed a chance to learn a new way to set goals?
What if there was a networking conversation you lost?
5AM is early.
If it’s too early for you, stay home. Wait for the “perfect time” to work on your dream.
But if you know that there’s no such thing as “too early” when it comes to chasing a dream, join me at this free event this Friday in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Fill out this quick form and we’ll send you all the details you need. (If you’re out of town and want to be notified if we take the show on the road to a location near you, fill out the form too! This is a live, be there in 3D with your own coffee event and will use the hashtag #5club to keep online folks connected.)
