How do you balance your family and working on your dream?
“How do you get your spouse to support your dream?”
“How do you keep your family a priority when you get really busy?”
“How do you stay focused on being a husband or a wife when a dream takes off?”
I’ve been hearing these questions a lot lately. And they’re great questions to ask because you wouldn’t believe the number of marriages that are wrecked when someone chases a dream the wrong way. I’ve written about them a few times, but I can only speak from one side.
To fully answer those questions, I’ve asked a special guest to come speak at the Quitter Conference.
For the first time ever, my wife Jenny is going to join me on stage. We’re going to do a short Q&A session to talk through the challenges of honoring a marriage while chasing a dream. (We’ll keep it short so that if you’re not married and attend it won’t be a drag.) She’ll tell you first hand what we started working on together 3 years ago and why we both knew it was time to take a big risk and jump into a dream job in a different state.
Jenny is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. People who have read my book Quitter have asked time and time again, “When will your wife write a book?” Most of my good ideas start by me being wise enough to listen to something she says in one of our conversations.
This is probably going to be the only time we do something like this, so you don’t want to miss it.
Spots for the Quitter Conference on July 30 are filling up fast.
